Fireworks, barbeques, parades, and live music — no other holiday spells Summer fun quite like Canada Day. Although you could just as easily celebrate Canada's birthday by watching the festivities on TV or setting out some lawn chairs and a grill in your backyard, some Canada Day celebrations are worth the trip. The festival, which runs June 27 to July 1 in celebration of Canada Day and Harbourfront Centre’s 40th anniversary, boasts a diverse range of multidisciplinary celebratory festivities for patrons and patriots of all ages. From food to fireworks, music to movement, crafts to cupcakes, and more, Harbourfront Centre invites the city of Toronto and its visitors to take part in an epic 5-day celebration of Canadian arts and creativity.
